NEW YORK --

Frederick Wildman and Sons, leading importers of the world’s finest wines and spirits, announced today that long-time Vice President and National Director of Bordeaux sales, Martin Sinkoff, has decided to depart the company on December 31st. With a career spanning four decades across the “who’s who” of fine wine retailers, brands and importers including Morrell and Company, Glazer’s Distributors and his own namesake company, Sinkoff brought tremendous experience and knowledge to his role.

“Our company has benefitted from Martin’s unparalleled knowledge and passion for our industry,” said Marc Hirten, President and COO, Frederick Wildman and Sons. “His contributions and his presence will be greatly missed by all of us at Frederick Wildman. We wish him the best of luck in his future endeavors and know he will continue to contribute to our industry’s community.”

Sinkoff joined Frederick Wildman in mid-2008 as Director Marketing, Fine Wine. That role led to increased responsibilities for the company’s entire Marketing Department. Sinkoff is credited as helping expand the Frederick Wildman portfolio to include iconic brands from Bordeaux, Burgundy, the Rhone, Umbria and Friuli.
