Local Dealership Wants Your Car and Will Pay High Prices

In an effort to expand its pre-owned inventory, Elgin Volkswagen is holding a "Great Trade-In Event"

PR Newswire

ELGIN, Ill., Nov. 15, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Demand for pre-owned vehicles is higher than ever, but supply is low. While this is good news for customers, it's not great for car dealerships. That's why Elgin Volkswagen, a local dealership serving Elgin and the surrounding area, is offering to pay high prices for customers' pre-owned vehicles. It has dubbed this situation the "Great Trade-In Event."

Elgin VW explains that, while the dealership also has the ability to grow its used inventory by buying vehicles from auctions or online purchases, it would rather avoid going this route. Auctions tend to have expensive additional fees added onto them, while online purchases are hard to verify for quality and vehicle history.

Instead of spending extra money on auction fees and other expenses, Elgin VW has stated it would rather give this cash to individuals who sell them their vehicles directly. The dealership is particularly looking for well-maintained models from responsible owners.

By trading in their current vehicle, customers can upgrade to the latest Volkswagen models with Elgin VW. This means they'll gain access to the newest technology updates, performance enhancements, and safety features. A further benefit of this is that, after upgrading, many Elgin VW customers keep making the same monthly payments, or at least close to it, that they did on their previous vehicle.

Those interested in The Great Trade-In Event are encouraged to contact Elgin Volkswagen through its website at http://www.elginvw.com. Individuals who wish to speak to someone immediately can make a call to 847-428-2000 and ask for Rebecca Balonier, or send an email to rebeccab@elginvw.com. Finally, prospective sellers may head to dealership lot in person; it's located at 2630 Auto Mall Drive, Elgin.
