K2 & Associates Investment Management Inc. Wins Top Awards for 3 and 5-Year Return

Toronto, Ontario--(Newsfile Corp. - October 20, 2021) - Alternative IQ held their yearly hedge fund awards on October 19th where veteran Canadian Portfolio Manager and Exempt Market Dealer, K2 & Associates Investment Management Inc. took home 1^st and 2^nd place for their 3-year return along with 2^nd and 3^rd place for their 5-year return for performance of their originating fund, The K2 Principal Fund L.P. as well as their mutual fund trust, The K2 Principal Trust. This is yet another award for K2 who were previously recognized for their sharpe ratio at the Canadian Hedge Fund awards.

K2 & Associates is a hedge fund manager with over 20 years of experience with a proven track-record of creating value for our stakeholders at large. The dedicated team of investment professionals and risk managers have a broad skill set and maintain strong relationships with domain experts across many industries. The firm's principals are materially invested in the firm and represents approximately 70% of all capital in the fund.

The K2 Principal Fund L.P. is a multi-strategy, event-driven fund that invests primarily in the North American equities and debt markets.
