CHELSEA, QC, Jan. 15, 2021 /CNW Telbec/ - Canada Economic Development for Quebec Regions (CED)

To support organizations in the tourism sector and prepare them for an eventual recovery, the Government of Canada will announce financial assistance in several regions across Quebec on January 18 and 19, 2021.

William Amos, Member of Parliament for Pontiac and Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister of Innovation, Science and Industry, invites media representatives to a press conference on support for Auberge et Spa Le Nordik inc.

The announcement of this CED financial contribution will be made on behalf of the Honourable Mélanie Joly, Minister of Economic Development and Official Languages.

Tourism is a major economic engine in Quebec generating many jobs. This sector was hit hard due to the COVID-19 pandemic and the impacts could last several months, and even years.
