INDOCHINO Ranks Third Fastest Growing Retailer in Canada for Companies with Revenue Over $100M

Canada NewsWire

VANCOUVER, Sept. 13, 2019 /CNW/ - Today, Canadian Business and Maclean's ranked INDOCHINO as one of the fastest growing businesses in Canada on the annual Growth 500, the definitive ranking of Canada's Fastest-Growing Companies. INDOCHINO is the third fastest growing retailer in Canada for businesses with revenues of more than $100 million CAD and the No. 1 fastest growing Canadian retailer internationally.

INDOCHINO achieved five-year revenue growth of 383%, fuelled by North America retail growth, international expansion and product expansion. (CNW Group/Indochino Apparel Inc.)

INDOCHINO made the 2019 Growth 500 list as No. 239 overall with five-year revenue growth of 383%, fuelled by North America retail growth, international expansion and product expansion. Of companies with revenues of more than $100 million, INDOCHINO ranked No. 13.

This month, INDOCHINO is opening its 50th showroom in Washington, DC — one of 20 in North America slated for 2019. The company recently launched its online business in Australia, paving the way for future retail growth in markets beyond North America. INDOCHINO has also benefited from expanding its product range beyond made to measure suiting with the recent launch of custom chinos and casual shirts and a brand new outerwear program set to be announced this month.

"It is an honour for a company of our size to be featured on the Growth 500 list," said Drew Green, CEO of INDOCHINO. "To be experiencing strong, sustained growth is a sign of the hard work and sheer determination of the entire team, board, and shareholders, as we work together to build a world-renowned Canadian brand."

The Growth 500 ranks Canadian businesses on five-year revenue growth. Growth 500 winners are profiled in a special print issue of Canadian Business published with Maclean's magazine and online at CanadianBusiness.com and Growth500.ca.

"The companies on the 2019 Growth 500 are truly remarkable. Demonstrating foresight, innovation and smart management, their stories serve as a primer for how to build a successful entrepreneurial business today," says Beth Fraser, Growth 500 program manager. "As we celebrate over 30 years of the Canada's Fastest-Growing Companies program, it's encouraging to see that entrepreneurship is healthier than ever in this country."
