Home Capital to Release First Quarter Results on May 11, Annual Meeting of Shareholders to be Held in June

TORONTO, May 2, 2017 /CNW/ - Home Capital Group Inc. ("the Company" TSX: HCG) today announced that its unaudited interim consolidated financial statements and related Management's Discussion and Analysis (MD&A) for the three-month period ended March 31, 2017 will be issued after the close of market on May 11, 2017. This timing change allows the MD&A to be updated for events that have occurred since the close of the first quarter. On April 21, the Company pre-announced preliminary, unaudited first quarter earnings per share.

The Company will host an investor audio conference call webcast the following day at 8:00 a.m. on Friday, May 12, 2017.

Home Capital Group also announced that it is rescheduling its Annual Meeting of Shareholders to June 2017, on a date to be determined. A new record date will be established shortly and new meeting materials will be distributed to shareholders.

First Quarter 2017 Financial Results Conference Call Details
