TORONTO, March 29, 2019 /CNW/ - CI Investments Inc. ("CI") reported today, on behalf of one of its business units and a predecessor company (together, the "Investment Managers"), several historical transactions undertaken by the Investment Managers.

On November 20, 2017, Sentry Investments Inc. ("SII"), a predecessor company of CI, disposed of, on behalf of accounts and investment funds managed by it, 12,228,045 common shares of Scorpio Gold Corporation ("Scorpio"), a company with a head office location at Suite 506, 595 Howe Street, Vancouver, BC V6C 2T5, resulting in a 9.79% decrease in its securityholding percentage. Immediately before the disposition, SII held 19,786,045 common shares of Scorpio, representing approximately 15.84% of the issued and outstanding common shares. Immediately after the disposition, SII held 7,558,000 common shares of Scorpio, representing approximately 6.05% of the issued and outstanding common shares. The common shares were sold on TSX Venture Exchange for $368,064.15 in total, at a price of $0.0301 per share.

On July 26, 2018, Sentry Investment Management ("Sentry"), a business unit of CI, acquired, on behalf of accounts and investment funds managed by it, 1,000,000 common shares of Havilah Mining Corporation ("Havilah"), a company with a head office location at 1055 West Hastings Street, Vancouver, BC V6E 2E9, resulting in a 3.80% increase in its securityholding percentage. Immediately before the acquisition, Sentry held 1,785,960 common shares of Havilah, representing approximately 6.79% of the issued and outstanding common shares.  Immediately after the acquisition, Sentry held 2,785,960 common shares of Havilah, representing approximately 10.59% of the issued and outstanding common shares. The common shares were acquired on TSX Venture Exchange for $500,000 in total, at a price of $0.50 per share.

On October 23, 2018, Sentry disposed of, on behalf of accounts and investment funds managed by it, 5,474,000 common shares of Aurelius Minerals Inc. ("Aurelius"), a company with a head office location at Suite 1020, 625 Howe Street, Vancouver, BC V6C 2T6, resulting in a 5.77% decrease in its securityholding percentage. Immediately before the disposition, Sentry held 13,300,000 common shares, or securities convertible into common shares, of Aurelius, representing approximately 14.01% of the issued and outstanding common shares.  Immediately after the disposition, Sentry held 7,826,000 common shares or securities convertible into common shares of Aurelius, representing approximately 8.25% of the issued and outstanding common shares. The common shares were sold on TSX Venture Exchange for $354,715 in total, at a price of $0.0648 per share. 

The Investment Managers, on behalf of the accounts and investment funds managed by them, acquired or disposed of the securities for investment purposes.
