Hempco Update on Private Placement

Canada NewsWire

VANCOUVER, Sept.12, 2017 /CNW/ - Hempco Food and Fiber Inc. (TSX.V: HEMP) ("Hempco®" or the "Company") is pleased to provide this update on its previously announced private placement transaction with Aurora Cannabis Inc. ("Aurora").  Further to the Company's press releases of June 8, June 16, June 23 and July 31, 2017, Hempco® confirms that it continues to work with Aurora on completing documentation to conclude these transactions.

The basic terms of the private placement terms are as previously disclosed.  The parties have been working on some of the finer points in the definitive agreements and Hempco® believes that these documents are close to being in final form.  Hempco® hopes to complete documentation and disclose such within the next few days.

Hempco is unaware of any other material changes that would impact the share price.
