QUEBEC CITY, June 6, 2017 /CNW Telbec/ - iA Financial Group (Industrial Alliance Insurance and Financial Services Inc.) announces that as of June 1, 2017, Francis P. McGuire has stepped down from the company's Board of Directors to dedicate himself to his new role as President of the Atlantic Canada Opportunities Agency.

Mr. McGuire had been a director with iA Financial Group since May 2001 and was Chair of its Human Resources and Governance Committee.

On behalf of the other members of the Board of Directors, Ms. Jocelyne Bourgon, Chair of the Board, thanks Mr. McGuire for his considerable contribution and dedication to the company's growth and development.

At the same time, iA Financial Group announces the appointment of Robert Coallier as Chair of its Human Resources and Governance Committee. A member of the Board since 2008, Mr. Coallier is Chief Executive Officer of Agropur coopérative.
