Sandy Sharman, Senior Executive Vice-President and Chief Human Resources and Communications Officer, was selected for the third year in a row in the HSBC Corporate Executives category. Ms. Sharman is a strategic and proven leader who brings 30 years of financial services experience and business acumen to her mandate. She drives CIBC's Human Capital Strategy which is unlocking the potential of CIBC's team and transforming the culture, leadership and employee experience for the bank's 44,000 employees.

Veni Iozzo, Executive Vice-President, Communications, Public Affairs & Workplace Transformation, was selected in the RBC Champions category. Ms. Iozzo is a collaborative leader with a proven track record of leading bold change. Throughout her career she has mentored and sponsored women leaders, focusing on elevating the diverse experiences they bring to the table. Ms. Iozzo was also recognized last year in the BMO Arts and Communications category.

Susan Rimmer, Managing Director and Head, Global Corporate Banking, Capital Markets, was selected in the CIBC Trailblazers and Trendsetters category. As a proven change agent, Ms. Rimmer has pushed barriers in her work environment, paving the way for new talent to follow in her lead. Her client-focused leadership and deep commitment to charitable causes has had a lasting impact across the industry, the business and our community.

Maili Wong, First Vice-President and Portfolio Manager, CIBC Wood Gundy, was selected in the Mercedes-Benz Emerging Leaders category. Ms. Wong applies her 17 years of international investing experience in helping empower Canadians to take control of their finances so they can lead healthy and productive lives.

CIBC is also pleased to congratulate CIBC Board member, Kate Stevenson who was recognized in the Accenture Corporate Directors category. Ms. Stevenson has a strong and long-term commitment to board governance. She is currently Chair of CIBC's Corporate Governance Committee, where she takes the lead on initiatives to optimize the Board's effectiveness.
