LAKE MARY, Fla. --

CentralSquare Technologies, a leader in public sector software, announced today that Carly Fiorina will present the keynote address at their flagship event, CentralSquare 2019, on Tuesday, March 19, in San Antonio, TX. CentralSquare 2019 brings together over 1,200 local government and public safety leaders from nearly every state and province across North America.

“We are pleased to welcome Carly Fiorina to our flagship event and believe her vision will resonate with CentralSquare’s customers,” said CEO Simon Angove. “Carly is an accomplished business leader, public figure and thought leader who will inspire and challenge the audience to find new and innovative ways to leverage technology to power amazing public experiences.”

A leading figure in technology and innovation, Carly’s career has spanned from secretary to CEO, from public to private, and from for-profit to non-profit. Carly began her career as a secretary for a nine-person real-estate business, then joined AT&T as a management trainee. In 1995, she led corporate operations for Lucent Technologies, playing a key role in planning and implementing the 1996 initial public offering, which at the time became one of the most successful IPOs in U.S. history. She is perhaps best known for her role as chairman and CEO of Hewlett-Packard, where she was the first woman ever to lead a Fortune 50 company. At HP, Carly oversaw the acquisition of Compaq, which at the time was the largest technology merger in history and made HP the world’s largest seller of personal computers. As a result of the merger, HP doubled its revenue and tripled innovation to 15 patents per day during her tenure.

CentralSquare 2019 will take place at the Henry B. González Convention Center and Grand Hyatt in San Antonio, TX, March 17-20. Learn more at CentralSquare2019.com
