MONTMAGNY, QC, Nov. 17, 2017 /CNW Telbec/ - The Fonds régionaux de solidarité FTQ Chaudière—Appalaches has forged a real estate development partnership with Maisons Laprise, a reputed manufacturer of energy-efficient pre-engineered homes since 1989.

Earlier this year, the Fonds immobilier de solidarité FTQ partnered with Maisons Laprise on the L’Aura St-Nicolas development. (CNW Group/Fonds de solidarité FTQ)

This partnership will support the company's growth plans, which it began implementing in recent years by, among other things, acquiring land for residential development.

Maisons Laprise owes its success to its pre-engineered homes, which use patented high-performance prefabricated panels.  Manufacturing in a controlled environment sheltered from outside elements ensures better quality control, enhances productivity, cuts labour costs and improves construction lead times.

Quotes

"We're proud to contribute to the growth of Maisons Laprise, an industry leader in high-performance, energy-efficient prefab construction. This is the company's second partnership with the Fonds de solidarité FTQ network. Earlier this year, the Fonds immobilier de solidarité FTQ partnered with Maisons Laprise on the L'Aura St-Nicolas development."
Jean Roy, Regional Director, Fonds régionaux de solidarité FTQ, Chaudière—Appalaches and Québec City regions

"This partnership with the Fonds régionaux de solidarité FTQ Chaudière-Appalaches is in line with our desire to increase our market share, in particular by acquiring more land and carving out a niche in multi-residential development. Our industry is highly competitive and patented panels are constantly changing. We therefore take nothing for granted and continue to invest in R&D in order to remain an industry benchmark."
Daniel Laprise, President, Maisons Laprise
