MONTREAL, May 31, 2022 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- (CSE: EMER) Emergia Inc. “We are proud to announce that the Corporation pursued, in Q1-2022, its “financial turnaround” started in 2021, as it added new private placements since the beginning of the year totalling $5.2 million thereby reducing its short-term debt accordingly, and made a strategic acquisition of approximately 30% interest in an income producing portfolio in Ontario, increasing Emergia’s asset base by $47.1 million on a proportionate share basis,” said Henri Petit, President and Chief Executive Officer of the Corporation. “Furthermore, Emergia registered a net income of $4 million in the first quarter compared to its quarterly loss of $153,412 in Q1-2021” added Henri Petit.
