Donald LeCavalier honoured at the ESG UQAM Prix Performance Gala

MONTRÉAL, Oct. 23, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- TC Transcontinental is proud to highlight the remarkable career path of its Chief Financial Officer, Donald LeCavalier, who will be honoured at the 2018 Prix Performance Gala of the Université du Québec à Montréal’s School of Management (ESG) tonight at the Montréal Science Centre. This competition, now in its 28th edition, aims to recognize exceptional alumni who have distinguished themselves in their field through their success, perseverance and leadership.

“On behalf of TC Transcontinental and in my own name, I would like to warmly congratulate Donald LeCavalier on this award of recognition presented to him by ESG UQAM,” said François Olivier, President and Chief Executive Officer of TC Transcontinental. “Donald is an experienced manager and a seasoned financier who knows how to rally his teams to carry out the numerous mandates entrusted to him by the Corporation. Over the years, he has contributed to our transformation and to some of the most important milestones of our development. The honour bestowed on him tonight is well deserved and reflects on the company as a whole.”

After joining TC Transcontinental in 2006 as Treasurer, Donald LeCavalier rose through the ranks leading up to his recent appointment as Chief Financial Officer in September. This skilled manager has the mandate of overseeing the entire Finance Department, namely financial disclosure and analysis, taxation, internal control, treasury and transactional services. He is also responsible for investor relations and government affairs in addition to overseeing the Corporate Communications Department. His breadth of experience in the business world and his strong professional background are key elements of his success at TC Transcontinental, not to mention his team spirit and great propensity for knowledge sharing, which make him an executive that is valued and respected by all. In parallel, Donald LeCavalier continues to be an astute educator to the next generation, regularly sharing his experience with business administration students, and a dedicated volunteer in the community and among youth.

TC Transcontinental extends its congratulations to all the winners honoured at the 2018 Prix Performance Gala.
