Couche-Tard mobilizes to raise $70,000 to help victims of spring flooding

It took just 16 days, from May 3 to 19, for $70,000 to be raised by Couche-Tard and Circle K employees and customers, who were asked to donate online and in-store. Individuals who gave by clicking a link or adding it to their bill had their donations matched by the company, doubling the campaign's results.

This initiative by Couche-Tard is in line with the company's desire and commitment to uphold its social responsibility efforts. Residents of Québec, Ontario and the Atlantic provinces all demonstrated their engagement and generosity.

"Couche-Tard maintains its involvement with the community, and the response we had was unbelievable. These funds were raised in no time at all. We're proud of this engagement and hope that community members know they can count on our efforts and people-focused approach," said Sophie Provencher, VP of Operations, Québec West at Couche-Tard.

At the same time, Couche-Tard also took measures to aid employees who were directly affected by the spring flooding.
