Slate Retail REIT Provides Update on Previously Announced Acquisition
Slate Retail REIT (TSX: SRT.U) (TSX: SRT.UN) (the "REIT"), an owner and operator of U.S. grocery-anchored real estate, today provided the following update on the agreement announced on March 10, 2020 pursuant to which the REIT would acquire 7 grocery-anchored properties in the southeastern and mid-Atlantic United States for US$106.5 million, subject to customary closing conditions.

Slate Retail REIT to Release First Quarter 2020 Results
Slate Retail REIT (TSX: SRT.U) (TSX: SRT.UN) (the "REIT"), an owner and operator of U.S. grocery-anchored real estate, announced today that it will be releasing its first quarter 2020 results before market hours on Wednesday, May 13, 2020. Senior management will host a live conference call at 9:00 am ET on Wednesday, May 13, 2020 to discuss the results and ongoing business initiatives of the REIT.
