Current Water Technologies Inc. is a Canada-based Company, which is engaged in the development of environmental technologies. It operates through two segments: Current Water and Pumptronics. The Current Water segment operates in treating water and engineering, manufacturing, and sales of water systems. The Pumptronics segment is engaged in developing hydraulic fluid systems to move water and other liquids. The Company provides electro-static deionization (ESD), which is an electrochemical process that lowers the concentration of total dissolved solids (TDS) in water. ESD is offered in two designs, one removes all charged dissolved solids, while the other removes monovalent ions such as nitrate and fluoride. It also provides Ammonia removal technology (AmmEL). Which provides treatment for the removal of dissolved ammonia from industrial and municipal water including wastewater, storm water, sewage effluent and mine waste water. Its other technology includes NitrEl, AmdEL, and ExtrEL.
