Eastern Platinum Limited Reports Results for the Second Quarter of 2023
Vancouver, British Columbia--(Newsfile Corp. - August 11, 2023) - Eastern Platinum Limited (TSX: ELR) (JSE: EPS) ("Eastplats" or the "Company") is pleased to report that it has filed its condensed interim consolidated financial statements for the three and six months ended June 30, 2023 and the corresponding management's discussion and analysis. Below is a summary of the Company's financial results for the second quarter of 2023 ("Q2 2023") and for the six months ended June 30, 2023 ("YTD 2023") (all amounts in USD unless specified) in comparison to the same respective period in 2022 ("Q2 2022" and "YTD 2022"):

Eastplats' South African Subsidiary Receives a Summons
Vancouver, British Columbia--(Newsfile Corp. - July 7, 2023) - Eastern Platinum Limited (TSX: ELR) (JSE: EPS) ("Eastplats" or the "Company") announces that its South African subsidiary, Barplats Mines Proprietary Limited ("Barplats") received a combined summons (the "Summons") from ABT Toda Proprietary Limited ("ABT Toda") which is related to the matter in respect of which Barplats is in arbitration with Advanced Beneficiation Technologies (Pty) Ltd ("ABT") regarding the Agreement (as defined below) (see the Company's Amended Management's Discussion and Analysis for the Three Months ended March 31, 2023 and News Release dated January 26, 2022). The Summons was filed with the High Court of South Africa (North West Division, Mahikeng) by ABT Toda.

Eastern Platinum Limited owns directly and indirectly a number of platinum group metals (PGM) and chrome assets in the Republic of South Africa. It is engaged in re-mining and processing of tailings at the Crocodile River Mine (CRM) and the exploration and development of other PGM and chrome properties located in various provinces in South Africa. All of the Company's properties are situated on the western limb (Crocodile River Mine) and eastern limb (Kennedy's Vale, Spitzkop, Mareesburg) of the Bushveld Complex, the geological environment that hosts approximately 80% of the PGM-bearing ore. Operations at the Crocodile River Mine include re-mining and processing its tailings resource to produce PGM and chrome concentrates from the Barplats Zandfontein tailings dam. Its six PGMs are platinum, palladium, rhodium, osmium, iridium and ruthenium. The Kennedy's Vale and Spitzkop Project are situated on the Eastern limb of the Bushveld Complex 350 kilometers northeast of Johannesburg.
