Capital Power Corporation is a North American power producing company. The Company develops, acquires, owns and operates renewable and thermal power generation facilities and manages its related electricity and natural gas portfolios by undertaking trading and marketing activities. The Company is engaged in the operation of electrical generation facilities within Canada, including Alberta, British Columbia and Ontario, and in the United States, including North Carolina, New Mexico, Kansas, Alabama, Arizona, North Dakota, Illinois and Texas. For the six months ended 30 June 2022, Capital Power Corp revenues increased 29% to C$1.21B. Net income applicable to common stockholders increased 91% to C$181M. Revenues reflect Canada segment increase of 36% to C$1.15B.
