CIBC earns one of the top overall scores in mobile banking functionality and user experience

Canada NewsWire

TORONTO, June 7, 2018 /CNW/ - CIBC (TSX: CM) (NYSE: CM) today announced it is one of two banks to earn the highest overall score in The Forrester Banking Wave™: Canadian Mobile Apps, Q2 2018 report.

This report evaluated six large Canadian banks' mobile apps across 64 criteria. CIBC tied for the highest overall score and was cited for offering a consistently good user experience, with a solid showing across the board noting one of its best qualities as the ability to set multiple savings goals.

"We are continuously leveraging client insights to evolve our mobile experience so that we can deliver capabilities and functionality that our clients want and value," says Aayaz Pira, SVP, Digital, Personal and Small Business Banking. "And we think this recognition from Forrester Research showcases our commitment to our clients and dedication to digital innovation."

Additionally, CIBC was recognized for consistently applying visual design best practices to highlight key information such as account balances.

"We are committed to delivering an outstanding mobile user experience for our clients so they can bank when and how they want," added Mr. Pira.
