CI Investments announces meeting of unitholders of Cambridge Balanced Yield Pool

TORONTO, Aug. 24, 2018 /CNW/ - CI Investments Inc. ("CI") announced today it is calling a meeting of the unitholders of Cambridge Balanced Yield Pool, to be held on October 18, 2018, to approve a change to the investment objective of the fund to focus on writing put options primarily on select equity securities, as well as exchange-traded funds and broad-based indices.

In connection with the change in the objectives, the name of the fund will also be changed to Cambridge Put Write Pool. If approved, the changes will take effect on or about October 19, 2018.

Unitholders of the fund will receive meeting materials in late September detailing the investment objective change proposal. More information will also be available in the amendment to the simplified prospectus of the fund to be filed in connection with these changes. These documents will be available at www.sedar.com and www.ci.com.
