Canadian Tire voluntarily recalls select units of Mastercraft Work Platform

TORONTO, June 10, 2016 /CNW/ - Canadian Tire is voluntarily recalling select units of the Mastercraft Work Platform (Product #061-1015) manufactured in 2013 due to potential safety concerns.

Only the following batches are affected by the recall: 20213, 30213, 40213, 50213, and 60213; the five-digit batch number can be found engraved on one of the legs of the bench and is followed by a three-digit number.

There have been no reports of any injuries associated with the use of this product.

Customers who have purchased the recalled products should discontinue use and contact their local Canadian Tire store to arrange for an exchange or refund.
