TORONTO --

Bibby Financial Services Canada, a leading provider of funding solutions for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), announced that Himanshu Rateja, Angelo Ghaleb, and Kyle Wilson have joined their sales executive team as Vice Presidents of Business Development. Rateja and Wilson join the BFS Canada Mississauga office, and Ghaleb joins the company’s Montreal office.

“This is an exciting time of expansion and growth for our business,” said James Poston, EVP & National Sales Director at BFS. “We are thrilled to have Himanshu, Angelo, and Kyle’s experienced insights on our side. It is our highest priority to seek out talent with diverse expertise to focus on building strong relationships with our partners and customers.

Rateja spent four years as a Client Services Manager on HSBC’s Global Trade Receivable Finance team in Toronto. Previously, he held the position of Assistant Vice President of HDFC Bank in New Delhi, India.

Ghaleb joins our team with a 10-year career in banking, working specifically in risk, underwriting, and business development. Before joining BFS, he was a Manager of Business Development at B2B Bank in Quebec, working to develop and distribute mortgage financing products.

Wilson brings more than 10 years of experience funding small and medium-sized enterprises to his new role at BFS. He previously held a Senior Account Manager position at BDC, working to develop business opportunities in financing and consulting.

“Rateja, Ghaleb, and Wilson are responsible for serving and building our existing Canadian referral network and providing access to capital solutions to our partners,” said Poston. “Each of them aligns with our expansion strategy of adding only experts that exemplify the BFS Canada team’s drive and passion to succeed. Our new team members have hit the ground running and have already proposed several business development opportunities. 2020 is primed to be an exciting year.”
