HAY RIVER, Northwest Territories, March 01, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- ATCO today reaffirmed its longstanding support for the Arctic Winter Games, announcing that it would again serve as a Legacy Sponsor of the South Slave 2018 Arctic Winter Games in Hay River and Fort Smith from March 18 - 24. ATCO is one of only two Legacy Sponsors, a distinction recognizing companies that have sponsored more than five Games and contributed more than $350,000 in support.

The Arctic Winter Games are the world’s largest northern multi-sport and cultural event with participation from the Northwest Territories, Yukon, Nunavut, northern Alberta, Nunavik-Quebec, Alaska, Greenland, Sapmi and Yamal. This year’s event will feature 1,800 athletes and cultural participants, and more than 2,000 volunteers and guests from Arctic nations around the world.
