VANCOUVER, BC – TheNewswire - June 30, 2020 - The following is a market update on the recent Annual General and Special Meeting (the “AGSM”) of the Astron Connect Inc. (“the Company”) (TSXV:AST) which was held on June 25th, 2020.

The AGSM was held at 10.30 a.m. on June 25th, 2020 in the Company’s offices at 2368 – 666 Burrard Street, Vancouver, B.C. There was a high level of shareholder participation in the AGSM with 83 shareholders present in person or by proxy representing over 73% of the total number of shares.

The consolidated financial statements for the year ended September 30, 2019 together with the auditor’s report thereon were presented and accepted.

The Company’s auditors Smythe LLP were reappointed as auditors for the ensuing year.

The number of directors was reduced from 5 to 4 and the management nominees for directors: Iris Duan, Randy Smallbone, Wei Kang and Fei Chu were all re-elected.

The Company’s rolling stock option plan was approved and new Company articles were presented and approved.

All of the proposals at the AGSM were approved by a wide margin of votes.

Following the AGSM, the board of Directors met to appoint the members of the Audit Committee and the Corporate Governance Committee for the ensuing year. The Board also decided to eliminate the position of Chief Operating Officer in order to streamline management.
