LOS ANGELES --

Great Place to Work and FORTUNE have honored 24Hr HomeCare as one of the 2018 Best Workplaces for Diversity. The Best Workplaces for Diversity not only stand out for how diverse each organization and its management team is, but for how employees themselves report they are really treated in their workplaces. To determine the list, Great Place to Work analyzed the experiences of women, people of color, LGBTQ people, employees who are Boomers or older, and people who have disabilities, comparing their survey results to their colleagues at the same organizations. All told, these anonymous survey responses on more than 60 survey questions reflecting day-to-day workplace treatment represented more than 4.4 million employees’ work lives. 24Hr HomeCare took the NUMBER 81 spot on the list.

“24Hr HomeCare is honored to be number 81 on the list of the Best Workplaces for Diversity, as we have put an emphasis on employee experiences and retention during 2018,” David Allerby, CEO of 24Hr HomeCare, says, “Inclusion and workplace diversity have always been important to us at 24Hr HomeCare. 81% of our frontline managers or supervisors are minorities and 36% of our executives are from minority groups. With the help of our Culture Committee, we are thrilled to continue to grow as a company and empower our employees to grow as individuals.”

The Best Workplaces for Diversity stand out for creating great workplaces for all employees, regardless of their personal characteristics. In 2018, 24Hr HomeCare implemented several projects that focus on workplace culture, including a committee that is dedicated to providing a positive experience for all employees during their time at the company. Throughout the year, 24Hr HomeCare continued to hire a diverse group of employees and provide them with an environment where they can grow and develop as individuals and employees alike.

“The 2018 Best Workplaces for Diversity are at the forefront of creating workplaces that are better for business and better for their people,” said Michael C. Bush, CEO of Great Place to Work. “These workplaces not only pay attention to how diverse their workforce and management teams are, but close critical gaps in how all their people are treated and developed day-to-day.”

The Best Workplaces for Diversity list is one of a series of rankings by Great Place to Work and FORTUNE based on anonymous employee feedback from Great Place to Work-Certified™ organizations. 24Hr HomeCare also was ranked as a Best Workplace for Aging Services by Great Place to Work and FORTUNE.
