1933 Industries hires Master Grower for its Nevada operations

PR Newswire

VANCOUVER, Jan. 7, 2019 /PRNewswire/ - 1933 Industries Inc. (the "Company" or "1933 Industries") (CSE: TGIF) (OTCQX: TGIFF) a licensed cultivator and producer of cannabis flower and concentrates and manufacturer of hemp/CBD products in Nevada, Colorado and California, is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Tim Spencer as Master Grower with the Company's subsidiary, Alternative Medicine Association ("AMA"). Mr. Spencer will be overseeing AMA's cannabis cultivation facility as it relocates its operations into a soon to be completed expanded facility, located in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Mr. Spencer is a seasoned agriculture specialist with more than 20 years of professional experience. In addition to working with some of the largest names in the agricultural industry, Mr. Spencer brings 10 years of experience specific to the legal cannabis sector in California and Colorado. Mr. Spencer began growing medical cannabis in California in 2008, went on to operate his own cannabis facility and later worked as Director of Cultivation for The Green Solution, one of Colorado's largest cannabis companies.  In this role, Mr. Spencer oversaw 250,000 sq. ft. of five tier vertical indoor production with more than 45,000 plants and over 180 employees, as well as one million sq. ft. of outdoor and greenhouse production totalling four cultivation sites.

In his new role, Mr. Spencer will be responsible for managing all aspects of AMA's operation, from production planning to cultivation and harvesting, in order to maximize sales, output and profitability. Mr. Spencer holds a Bachelor's Degree in Horticulture from the Stephen F. Austin State University in Texas.

"Tim has expertise at a scale rarely seen in the cannabis sector," commented Mr. Chris Rebentisch, the Company's USA Chief Operations Officer.  He brings technical knowledge and hands-on experience to ensure productivity and efficiency in large-scale commercial cultivation environments. We are confident that Tim will be instrumental in the successful launch of our new operations in Las Vegas."
