This year's finalists represent a wide variety of media, experiences and backgrounds. Additionally, the Plutus Awards has added new categories to continue to reflect the evolving nature of the independent financial media.

There will be 31 total categories recognized at the 10th Annual Plutus Awards, three of which will be presented by asset management firm, Capital Group, a Presenting Sponsor of the event, live on September 6, 2019 in Washington, D.C. One of the most interesting new categories to be added this year is one pushed by members of the Plutus Awards community panel and focuses on those who have impacted the community. Biggest Impact recognizes the work that community members do not only in the independent financial media, but also in their wider communities of influence.
