Business Overview
Family Memorials Inc. is a multi-outlet retailer of granite monuments, mausoleums and bronze markers for placement on individual cemetery sites. The Company operates in the death care industry retailing monuments and memorials through its wholly owned subsidiaries and with agency and sales agreements with individual funeral homes under the Family Memorials banner. As of December 31, 2011, the Company operated through six retail outlets across Canada. During the year ended December 31, 2011, the Company developed an online customer support system, which is a customized marketing material for funeral homes and the expansion of the cemetery database. The Company's wholly owned subsidiaries include Grajack Industries Ltd., Verduyn Granite Ltd., Barber Monuments Ltd. and Somerville Memorials Ltd. On November 1, 2011, the Company acquired Stratford Memorials Limited.
